Is the Air Max 1 moving up the sneaker custom power rankings? Most of what we’ve seen has been in the form of LeBron 9s or Air Jordans, but in light the ‘What The One’ customs from a two weeks back and this sick ?uestlove-inspired design, we just might have a new player in town. JWDanklefs, who has done some pristine work with Air Max customs before, transfers the famous 2008 1World Air Force 1 Low colorway with the red/green colorway and the elephant print on the midsole and quarter panel, but a second look will reveal that the elephant print has been given two different treatments (one has a green base, the other a black).
Supra has come together with Berlin-based Solebox to craft this new version of the Supra Skytop 3. Today we’re only getting a teaser image of the shoe, but we can pretty much see what it looks like. The design utilizes a shaggy grey suede, along with green detailing and glow-in-the-dark features. Meanwhile, a white midsole is applied to the look. We will keep you posted once new photos surface, so stay tuned in.
The Nike LeBron X has been the source of growing intrigue since King James debuted them in Team USA’s gold medal game versus Spain. During his visit to the Nike+ Festival of Sports, LeBron was spotted rocking the Nike LeBron X “Jade”. The upper looks to be draped in jade green, while the tongue, branding, and midsole are covered in black. Red laces complete the look of this never before seen sneaker. Though rumored to be a China exclusive, would you cop these if there were to release in the United States?
Could you wear this gruesome looking pair of kicks in public? If so it’d likely be with a few stares. After Nike’s Kill Bill themed pack came out in 2010 Jest3r of 3R Customs felt the shoes didn’t quite do the movies any justice so he set out to create his own. Taking his main inspiration from the movie posters this first pair, Vol. 1, is a complete decon-recon made using a premium bright yellow patent leather to match the jumpsuit worn by Uma Thurman as The Bride. A generous amount of red paint was used to mimic being splattered with blood, as how they would have looked after final battle scene. Black snakeskin was used to make the Swooshes to represent The Brides codename “Black Mamba”, within the Deadly Viper Assassin Squad.
This bloody mess is likely going to stay a 1 of 1 but if you want your favorite cult classic made into a custom sneaker contact Jest3r.netand follow him on Twitter and Instagram:@3Rcustoms

C2 Customs gave the previously white and orange high top Dunks a NY Knickerbocker look starting off with the painting of blue Swooshes and toe boxes along with heel tabs striped like the NY teams jerseys. From the back you can see the New York Knicks logo was remixed to the filmmakers name along with a big bold #33 likely in tribute to one of the greatest Knicks, Patrick Ewing. To finish them off a spin on rain camo was painted onto the toe and lace panels. This pair is surely a 1 of 1 but you can send your own request for a custom sneaker via C2Customs.com and follow him on Twitter @C2_Customs.
Have you been posting funny pictures of yourself as a child this week on Twitter? If not, either you are afraid, don’t like this design, or haven’t heard of the Paranorman contest being held this week by Nike. 800 pairs of a Nike Foamposite inspired by the movie Paranorman are being given away via Twitter to those with the most weird looking kid pictures. The stop motion 3D movie is based on a boy who is considered weird since he can see ghosts and must save his small town from zombies. To fit in the spooky theme of the film Nike designed the Foamposites to be black with neon green glowing sole and covered in an eerie smoke effect across the upper. But with only 800 pairs good luck getting your own or eBay for an excessive cost. But if you love the green smoke look contact a shoe customizer skilled in airbrush effects.
Atlanta, Georgia based sneaker customizer SmoothTip took little time waiting to get a Paranorman inspired design made in these “Paradunkman” Lebron 9. The black/neon green “Dunkman” shoe was used and given an upgrade with the green smoke effect across upper to perfectly match the green soles. Lastly the black Swooshes were painted a matching green along with a glow in the dark. SmoothTip is limiting this “ParaDunkman” Lebron 9 to 12 pairs that can be ordered via the Store at his newly designed website: SmoothTip.com and follow him on Twitter:@SmoothTip
